Google’s AdSense… Makes No Sense
Just one of those things that causes my mind to boggle so I figured I’d say something before I got resentful and blew up over it. If you look down the right column you will see paid ads here on Not Right in the Head I am not trying to encourage you to click on them… They do help pay for this site’s overhead though.
Just in Case you have no more clue about what I’m on about than Google has about Not Right in the Head:
Google AdSense is a program run by Google Inc. allows publishers in the Google Network of content sites to automatically serve text, image, video, and rich media adverts that are targeted to site content and audience. These adverts are administered, sorted, and maintained by Google, and they can generate revenue on either a per-click or per-impression basis. Google beta tested a cost-per-action service, but discontinued it in October 2008 in favor of a DoubleClick offering (also owned by Google). In 2011, Google earned US$2.34 billion ($9.36 billion annualized), or 28% of total revenue, through AdSense.
Rather than a lunatic diatribe I suppose I’ll simply review Adsense…

– DUDE!!!! I loved the thrashing you gave those POS Chinese Guitar Counterfeiters but did you know that you are advertising for the TradeTang ****ers right on your page. Yeah, the same ones selling the fake Gibsons! Dude, get your **** together cause that just ain’t right!
– I couldn’t help but notice that the adds being served on your site are in direct opposition to the subject you present for example what appeared along side your blog titled CFL Lights Suck was an add for GE CFL light bulbs. Kind of Ironic don’t you think?
– Thought I’d drop a not to let you know that your Google ads are whacked out and trying to sell me tickets to a Ducks game. I guess LSD and Hockey are a little bit alike.
Okay Fine… I get it and I suppose that if I were to title my entry “Crazy Lady on Xanax Drops the Straw that Broke the Camel’s Back” instead of “Why is the Fridge on the Front Lawn” there would be something other than adds for appliances… But come on… With a Site Called Not Right in the Head I’d figure that the obviousness wasn’t so obvious even to a cyber spider robot.
